Bulk Basic Snapshot Scanning
We define snapshots as any size print – from wallet to 8″x10″ – that is not framed or mounted to a stiff backing.

Mounted Prints, Oversize Print Scans
Prints that are larger than 8″ x 10″, or mounted to a stiff backing, or in a frame, require special handling.

Scan To Folders
If you have taken the time to sort your prints or slides into smaller group and identify them by year or family or event, we will scan your images with FILENAMEs with sequential numbers for that group, then into Folders using your identifying information.
This is a great way to insure that your physical Photo Pile does not become a File Pile in your computer!
Scan to Folder is $.05 (5 cents) additional per scan
Retouching / Restoration
We do offer basic restoration service for prints with minor defects such as spotting, small tears or folds.
We do not restore prints with major color loss or shifts, damage through faces or major paper loss.
Our Restoration fee is $35 per hour, $10 minimum.
When complete, we send you the digital image file(s).
Prints / enlargements and shipping not included.
We track time by restoration of each image, then total time for all restorations for the final fee.
As an example, restoration of the above sample image took 20 minutes.
FAQs
Do You Clean My Film / Prints Before Scanning?
We do not do any chemical or in-depth cleaning of prints or film before scanning.
We do dust off each item to remove loose dust & debris.
Embedded dust, dirt, fingerprints, scratches or any other damage in image will appear in the scanned image.
Will Auto Restoration Fix My Images to Perfect Condition?
The Auto Restoration function in our scanning software does a remarkable job of correcting slightly light, dark, faded or off-color images. The results are presentable, but not perfect without additional image editing.
What is the Difference Between Basic Scanning and Scan to Folder?
With Basic, we scan your prints, negatives or slides in the order that they are received. All image files will have a single file name with a consecutive number, such as yourname 531.jpg, and saved to a single folder.
With Scan to Folder, we scan your images as the groups you have sorted. We create FILENAMEs and folder names using the descriptors you have designated for an image group, such as by date, place, family or any other identifier. The result is folders and files like:
