3-Bush-2 gt rory 0228 ct m wnt_eastregistration_0829_ct McKinley Elementary School lacks storage space and breakout areas for small group work. McKinley, at 2435 N. 89 St., would be replaced with a new building on the school's existing property as proposed in the Wauwatosa School District's $124.9 million referendum on the Nov. 6 ballot. Built in 1929, the buildings three floors and basement are not handicap accessible, lacks adaptable space, requires replace of the building's boilers and HVAC system, and main entrance is not secure. Two elementary schools would be replaced, and two would receive major additions, reconfiguration and renovation.
